Just over a mile to the west of our hotel you can walk to this iconic store in under half an hour, take a 15-minute bus ride or get the tube to Knightsbridge.

The oldest toy shop in the world, Hamleys is a child's paradise. Located on Regent Street, which can be easily reached by tube, and with more than 50,000 toys covering seven floors, there is no better place to treat the little ones.

One of the most famous market streets in the world, Portobello is a major draw for Londoners and tourists alike.

From fresh food to toys, all sorts of wares are on sale here. Even if you don't buy anything, a chance to take in the hustle and bustle in this iconic setting is worth the visit. The market is within walking distance from our hotel or you can take the tube to Ladbroke Grove.
